Meet Estelle
Owner of E's Candles

Hi, my name is Estelle, I was born and raised in Wellington, New Zealand. I'm a primary school teacher and owner of E's Candles.

I started making candles in 2015 when my mum bought me a candle making kit for Christmas. From there I continued to buy candle supplies and I practiced how to make them. Each Christmas I would gift them to family members and friends, and continued to perfect the craft over the years.

 

In December 2019, I decided to make some labels for the candles and created the brand E's Candles. I posted a photo to Instagram which sparked a bunch of messages from people asking to order a candle. I then started the Instagram page E's Candles and the business has grown into this Website and a pop-up shop I ran on Wellington Waterfront in December 2020 - January 2021 for 6 weeks.

We are currently located in 6 Welly Collective stores across Wellington: 9 Park Road, Miramar, Boutique -195 Featherston Street, North City Mall Porirua, Queensgate Shopping Centre, Johnsonville Shopping Centre and the newest pop up location 140 Lambton Quay.
